The solar mini-grids that Exelon installed in the Kodalkati, Rajibpur, Kurigram is benefiting all the livelihoods in the chor area and is elevating their income and living standards.

Mr. Liton Ahmed is a farmer and before he had a diesel pump and maintaining it was very risky and expensive. Now after the mini-grid installation, he owns a flexible and cheap electric motor.

Mr. Hafizur Rahman was a contractor before, now he is a driver of this electric rickshaw. He can charge his electric rickshaw and can easily and quickly drive and take kids to school. This rickshaw made him more efficient in his work.

Mohammad Riyazul Karim owns a laundry shop in his village and now has his own electric iron and bought more lights and is getting many more customers even at night.
